So, I just thought it was funny, this site, http://nokola.com/blog/ has a banner name saying "You Had Me at Hello World"! LOL. Yeah it's corny, but i know a few of you are laughing, if you've ever joked about that phrase.
anyway, I'm glad i've found the site. Looks like it has some cool XAML tricks!

Hey there,
Dunno if i've ever told anyone, but I've made this Highlighter for Context Editor based off of ekid(Mukunda Johnson)'s
list of opcodes etc. This list can be found in his SNESKit. The Highlighter can be found in the Context Editor highlighter section under SNES CC65 Assembler.
Enjoy!
And let me know what you think!

I've been trying to get Qt and Qtjambi with Eclipse integration to work all day, It's 7:30 P.M. and I still have trouble!
The docs are saying that running eclipse -clean, with the QtJambi files in Eclipse's root directory will get it to pop up. That doesn't work. Neither does putting the files into the dropins folder.
Oh well I'll wait to see what they have to say on the mailing list and just do some verilog.

Was on my break at work and pulled up my homepage, saw a post on hackaday about Cupcake finally being released, but only for Android Dev phones. Later found out that i could downgrade my phone in order to root it, to get the custom Cupcake build with multi-touch etc.
By the end of May, all T-Mobile users will have the official T-Mobile version, but i've been looking for an excuse to root my phone anyway :P

Well,
I was at ROSS and looking around for stuff to buy the kiddies, when I come across a pair of uptown styled sneakers. Normally, this wouldn't be my taste, since it's been watered down by the media and doesn't have any street value(yeah I'm old school I guess). But when I saw the alien on the tounge of the shoe and took a closer look at the rest, I was jumping around like a little kid. "pats himself on the back"

Howdy,
It's been a while since I've reported anything, but I have some fun stuff to talk about.
For now, I'll just talk abou this book that I've gotten in the mail. It's called A Programmer's Guide to Sound.
(click book images for Amazon.com links)
It's a pretty cool LOOKING book. I've had countless books on the subject, for example, Digital Audio processing:
And Digital Audio with Java:
These books are cool, but I've had my issues with both. Digital Audio with Java was really nice, but was a bit outdated and I didn't want to bother consulting the java community to learn how to use the tools. I will one day, I won't make it a high priority though.
Digital Audio Processing has some jewels in it, but you have to read LOTS before getting into the subject. Almost as if the author was being a bit overly conversational, in order to fill gaps in the book....too bad....
A Programmer's Guide to Sound, has some nice looking CROSS-PLATFORM C++ libraries, as well as some USEFUL examples. I'd like to se a bit more detail in areas like waveform generation and sound formats, in the books that I buy, and it looks like this book might have what i'm looking for. You'll know if it's true or not.

Nooooooo!!!
My Midnight Marauders CD broke!! This sucks big time. That CD represents a signifigant time in rap-music and in my life as a new pimple-faced teenager (with all the chicks)
.
I guess torrents are good for something! I can still put the broken one back in its case I guess....

Yep,
I set my Wii up so that it'd tell me on the 30th of every month how long it's been since I lit up a cigarette for a year. It's been 3 months. Hurray me! I did have a dream that I lit up a Marlboro Light though... does that count???

Hey there,
There's a guy in the NESDev scene that's been moving at a steady pace and releasing nice work. He's also the only man in the community who's beard can rival mines. If you haven't guessed by now, that man is Rober L. Bryant! And his website has lots of interesting things on it. My favorite being the development sub-category of his Gaming section where he has just released his newest game Pegs. Check it out
source code included!!!!

Hi there,
What do I mean by bravery paying off??
Well a few months ago, I would have never even thought of trying to solder a 14-pin socket to modify my PICkit 1. But I did it! there are some extra sockets on the other end of the board for custom stuff. I've added a socket there that wont die like the included evaluation socket will.

So now I don't have to worry about burning out my eval socket and can finaly get back to programming PICs!!!! LOVIN IT!!!
